The Badia of Orvieto : wedding reportage in Umbria
Luca and Martina chose Umbria as location to celebrate their wedding: they pronounced their Yes in the beautiful church inside the Badia of Orvieto. They both got ready there with their families in the elegant rooms inside the hotel with amazing period furniture. The Romanesque church was decorated in a simple and elegant way with candles, plants and olive leaves to pay tribute to the precious floor made of mosaic. The guests welcomed the newlyweds throwing them rice outside the church under a suggestive stone portico. The couple then followed us for the photo shoot between plants and truly incredible views thanks to the splendid amber light of the evening. The warm summer atmosphere allowed the dinner to be set up externally within the wonderful walls of the Abbey lighted up in a truly refined way. Luca and Martina made their entrance between the applauses and the joy of their loved ones under a magical blue sky. For the cutting of the cake and the dances, a more colorful lighting was used given the party atmosphere that the newlyweds wanted to recreate.
