Getting Married at Scheggino: wedding reportage in Umbria
JP and Lisette are a Swiss couple who decided to get married in Scheggino, a wonderful village in central Italy, precisely in Umbria. The preparation of the newlyweds took place inside the village at the Antico Locanda Torre del Nera in two truly characteristic rooms and furnished in a rustic-elegant style. Lisette was surrounded by the love of her mother and her friends, Jp by the one of his brothers. Once ready, they reached the enchanting church of S. Nicola by foot, located in the heart of the town. There was a violent storm during the mass that made the atmosphere even more suggestive. When we went out for the rice and the petals it had stopped raining: Lisette and JP were full of joy! We started the photo shoot in the village by walking on foot among marvelous arcades, paths and characteristic balconies, stairs. Going down to the stream that delimits the perimeter of the town, we took the opportunity to take some shots along the bridge. The scenery in the background was an enchantment! Before heading to the Abbey of San Felice where dinner and the party would take place, we reached the guests at the Antica Locanda Torre del Nera for an aperitif. All together we went to the reception where we continued the photographic reportage between the sheaves of wheat and some group photos. The dinner, set up with a single imperial table, took place inside the barn. After some speeches and a few words of thanks from the couple, the party began with a live group that accompanied them until late at night.
