Getting Married in Rome, Casina di Macchia Madama
Maurizio and Ania got married in Campidoglio in the heart of Rome with a civil ceremony. Ania got ready in her apartment with the help of her mom and her son and it was very nice for us to be able to photograph in this intimate and precious moment three generations. Maurizio was already waiting for her on the Capitol with their guests intent on discovering the wonderful views that a location like Rome offers. Maurizio made his entrance with his mom while Ania was accompanied by her son. Although the ceremony was swift, it was really felt and at the exit they were greeted animatedly by confetti and hugs. We took the opportunity for some group photos and then we went to the terraces from which you can admire the various beauties of Rome. The point where you can see the roofs of Rome had such a beautiful light that it seemed to be suspended in time. We crossed the square on foot and we arrived at the other terrace where the oldest Rome was welcoming us. The reception took place in Casina di Macchia Madama, a historic home above Monte Mario, restored and now managed by the Vanni family. After dinner we went out for the cake which was accompanied by the launch of the balloons. After the cut the dance started and Ania changed her wedding dress for the occasion.
