Will you marry me?

When Carlo contacted us to ask us if we were available to photograph the moment when he would give the ring to her Francesca we were really happy! With an excuse he would have taken her to the chosen location and, after revealing our presence, we would have started the photo shoot. But the surprises for Francesca would not end! The location chosen was the beautiful Castle of Santa Severa, on the Roman coast. It was a late June afternoon and the light was going down. We started taking some shots in the suggestive village of the Castle, taking advantage of every corner and the texture of the stone. We arrived on the bank full of rocks in front of the Castle and it is right there that Carlo made Francesca sit and declared her his love by giving her the engagement ring! Francesca's amazement and joy were skyrocketing. The waves of the sea behind them were tinged with red. Stopping that precious and special moment over time was one of the most beautiful photographic emotions we have ever experienced.
